So it has been one week since my crazy ass crash, and hurting my whole body really bad. Everything is good except my left ankle is still a bit sore, (a small sprain) and my knee is still a little jacked. I went to Dr Chao down in san diego, he is a really good knee doc who actually does all the surguries for the entire san diego Chargers and also is out at the x games every year, he can figure out what is wrong with you and how to fix it. The best part is unlike other doctors he understands that we do this stuff for a living and trys to work it so we are back into training and competing as soon as possible, that is the best part, other doctors don't understand how hard we push our bodies, and how quickly we need to get back from injuries.

So at first they thought the MRI was going to show a small tear in the miniscus... which means a small surgury! which sucks! but I went in the other day, basicaly waiting for them to give me a surgury date , and the MRI's had come back good! no tear in the miniscus. The final outcome is a sprained MCL, sprained ACL, and bone contusions (bruises) on my lower femer, upper fibia. so i basically "tweaked my knee, and got a bone burise". This is still a pretty serious injury, so It may mean a few weeks off snow, but its nice to not get another knee surgury, casue even if they are minor and heal fast, its still taxing to get a full out surgury. plus that would be my fourth knee surgury! damn...

So now i am in southern cali, in the gym starting some rehab, icing, and taking some anti-inflamatories to get this thing healed. I am still going to x games , which is in a week, and am going to try to ride and see how it feels, hopefully i'll be all good to chuck myself offf some big jumps, but we'll see.!
